- What should I bring with me to class?
- Keep It Simple will provide everything that you need for your training.
When you arrive, you will receive a training manual and your choice of pens,
pencils, highlighters and notepads. We have coffee, tea, filtered water and
snacks available for you during your training. For your convenience, our
lunch area is equipped
with a refrigerator and a microwave oven.

- Is there a dress code?
- We suggest that you wear comfortable clothing. The more comfortable and
relaxed you are, the better you will learn.

- Will there be any breaks during the training?
- Yes. In day classes that run from 8:30-4:30, we will take one 10 minute
break in the morning, one 10 minute break in the afternoon, and an hour
break for lunch from 12:00-1:00. In evening classes that run from 6:00-9:00,
we will take one 10 minute break.

- Am I required to take the prerequisite course at Keep It Simple if I
already have equivalent skills?
- No. We don't require that you take the prerequisite from us if you
already have the skills. However, we ask that you call to discuss your
understanding of the prerequisite skills with a Keep It Simple instructor
before taking a class that has a prerequisite. We can provide you with the
topics that are covered in the prerequisite class. Outlines for all courses
can also be found on our website along with the class summary information.

- What happens if I take a class and I just don’t get it?
- At Keep It Simple, we take every measure to make sure that you WILL get
it! We have trained thousands of people since opening our first training
center in 1993. Our proven training techniques ensure that you will get the
most from your training experience. Plus, as an added benefit to taking
courses with us, you can repeat any course that you take as many times as
you like, for up to one year after completion at no additional charge. We
guarantee satisfaction or your money back!

- Are cell phones allowed in the classroom?
- Yes. However, we ask that you set the ringer to vibrate mode and that
you exit the classroom if you need to answer or to make a call.
- Are there any additional fees such as book fees or lab fees?
- No, there are no additional fees and there is no sales tax charged on
computer classes. All books are included in the price of the class.

- When I take a class, do I get any type of certificate?
- Yes. When you complete your training, you will receive a Keep It Simple
Certificate of Completion signed by your instructor. Upon completion, you
are also eligible for Continuing Education Credits (CEU’s) from the
University of Maryland University College.

- Will Keep It Simple classes help me to pass the Microsoft Office
Specialist exams?
- Absolutely! We employ only professional software trainers who can guide
you as you prepare for the Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) exams. Our
training material is Microsoft Approved User Specialist courseware, so the
skills required to pass the exams are part of our training. And since Keep
It Simple is also a Microsoft Authorized Testing Center for the MOS
Certification exams, we can administer the exam when you are ready to test.
We also provide free practice time using MOS study guides or MOS exam prep
software.

- Do you hold classes on Saturday?
- Yes, many of our classes are scheduled both during the week and on
Saturday. For a listing of Saturday classes, visit our online class schedule
or request a schedule be mailed or emailed to you.

- Are there any other benefits when I take a class with Keep It Simple?
- Yes. Part of Keep It Simple’s commitment to you is our follow-up support
at no additional cost. Should you need additional practice or have follow-up
questions after you have taken a class with us, you may contact our
instructors or schedule a time to visit our practice lab to work on your
specific goals.
